Following a confirmed case of Foot and Mouth Disease in Germany, the UK Chief Veterinary Officer is urging livestock keepers to remain vigilant for signs of disease, follow scrupulous biosecurity & report any suspicion of disease immediately to the Animal and Plant Health Agency.

The SRUC Vertical Farming Innovation Centre was opened by Jim Fairlie MSP SNP at our Edinburgh campus. The facility will be available to students and researchers to support new skills and knowledge of growing a range of plants under controlled growing conditions.
