Last Friday, our 6th-grade scholars had the opportunity to meet with a sitting Judge and talk about the court system. The Just Law program provides an opportunity for mentorship and exposure. Be sure to submit an essay and learn more about the program. Information was sent home .
The week before break was busy yet fun and engaging. We had crafts, P2 & PBIS celebrations. Our first staff member was nominated for P2 character trait: Kindness. Students showed pride in their work and shared knowledge of research. Santa even stopped by! See you tomorrow!

HUGE Shout-out to our Mighty Mustangs for showing what student ownership really looks like during Student Data Day!
They met with teachers and peers to track their growth in ELA and Math-plotting graphs, analyzing progress, and reflecting on the learning journey.
At our final Mustang School-Wide meeting, we again proved that Mustangs work hard and never forget to celebrate! We honored Leadership and cheered for hard work on state tests with a Pie in the Face and a bike giveaway. Thank you, Calvary Assembly Church, for the bike donation.
Let's not forget our Pre-K has had some fun recently with a visit from Peak the K9 and RPD visiting with horses. Of course, some fifth graders joined the fun!
This is just a reminder that the Kindergarten celebration will be from 8:30 - 9:00 a.m. in the courtyard and makerspace, instead of the previous schedule. This is a very informal celebration where ONLY 2 ADULTS PER STUDENT can attend due to limited space.
