My Life My Choice Shaun Picken and Paula Kennedy teach us about Oliver McGowan training. Life expectancy with a learning disability massively reduced and 50% died an avoidable death. This is a horrifying statistic and we all need to work to correct this inequality in care.


It was a pleasure running our GPC Hub workshop Royal College of Anaesthetists #anaesthesia2025. We spoke about the start of the network within South East London and our emulation at Royal Surrey Anaesthesia, Guildford, UK. Our hope is to see further collaboration across the country with new GPC Hubs across all regions.
