Our very own Kathy Pain was recently involved in guest editing a special journal issue of the Blogged_Environment titled Urban Planning and Public Health. This issue centres around promoting better urban environments by integrating #PublicHealth with #UrbanPlanning.

Last month, our MSc Spatial Planning & Development students went on the European field trip to Rotterdam 🇳🇱 Thank you to our hosts and tour guides on the trip.

During our recent graduations, Savills PLC was inducted to the University of Reading’s College of Benefactors for its widening participation work, allowing more people to study Real Estate. Kat Norton, Savills Development Management Director, accepted the award.

As Corporate Patrons of the Reading Real Estate Foundation (RREF), Savills has supported and continues to support the core activities of the Foundation by promoting access and widening participation.

Including seed funding for uni research, bursary and hardship funding for RealEstate&Planning students and promoting the Access Internships scheme. Savill’s are also gold-level supporters of Pathways to Property, an RREF initiative that aims to widen participation in real estate.
