I have found myself agreeing with Nadine Dorries: if Liz Truss wants to take the country in a totally different direction to the one laid out in the 2019 Tory manifesto, then she needs to call a general election first.

How is it possible that we’ve been landed with a Prime Minister who defends a policy in a round of interviews on Sunday evening after days of criticism and financial carnage, only for it to be abandoned before the same interviews are even aired? Liz Truss isn’t fit to be PM.

I doubt Liz Truss is the real leader of the Tory Party never mind the country.

The more mini-interviews that robotic Liz Truss gives about her catastrophic mini-budget, the less impressive she sounds. I fear she's completely out of her depth as Prime Minister.

Liz Truss is a truly awful Prime Minister. However hard I try I can’t get my head around the idea of squeezing benefits during a cost of living crisis. But to seriously consider it after already trying to give a tax cut to the highest earners just beggars all belief.

These are the people who had the right to elect the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and gave us Liz Truss.
