A sea of blues (pink + white) on the Delphinium grandiflorum bed in the Trials Garden RHS Garden Wisley, from seed sown undercover in February. Watch out for the larger elatum delphiniums putting out some late flowers this year, more next year!

Many members of the #TOPC committee gathered for one of their annual meetings at RHS Garden Wisley on Monday and were treated to a guided tour of the brand new #Orchid house display in the #Glasshouse, which is very impressive and also contains many fascinating #Tender plants!

We've been fascinated by the different shapes and sizes of Muscari, or grape hyacinth, bulbs 🧄🧅 that we have been planting up into containers this month. Look out for our trial of 50(!) different Muscari in the Trials Garden RHS Garden Wisley flowering in spring🏆🪻 #muscari #bulbs

You see quite a lot of cedars about like this with stiff but downward pointing branches. Could they be C.deodara hybrids? This one’s in Birkenhead Park.

Two rather different seedlings of Acer ‘White Tigress’ which suggest hybridisation somewhere along the line. Does anyone have a firm idea of what the attribution or parentage of ‘White Tigress’ is? Anyway, hoping for something pretty from this pair in due course.

Now that’s what I call a lawn daisy! These is just a bedding cultivar grown from seed a couple of years ago and planted. It gets mown like any other Bellis perennis and responds in the same way - by gently spreading and flowering like mad!
