We are delighted to have been awarded a £20,000 Golden Award from the The Rank Foundation. Led by our young volunteers, this award will be used to transform our much-loved Forest School building into a mindful, safe and calm space. Thank you The Rank Foundation
Yesterday we had the pleasure of welcoming @RFJamesUK. This was as part of our Golden Awards project with The Rank Foundation. Our Volunteers foraged natural materials from site including fallen fruit and florals. The process, enthusiasm and team work was great to see.
We had a great day yesterday at The Langwith Show at RHUBARB FARM - a shining example of a community coming together to support a fantastic facility, as well as each other.
We are delighted to announce that RHUBARB FARM has been awarded some funding from Comic Relief to allow the BFIN Food Hubs, cookery classes & slow cooker courses developed alongside ABL Health and the @yhywnotts service to continue. We have enjoyed filming with them this week.

Mel from RHUBARB FARM v kindly came to talk to GPs about food hubs and brought an example of FareShare boxes to that they could cook with the kind of food patients will be picking up. All part of Best Food Forward food initiative with health professionals.

We visited the Bassetlaw Food Hubs run by RHUBARB FARM together with community partners such as RAMSDEN PRIMARY, the Now Church pantry in Langold, and Bassetlaw Community Shop by Bassetlaw Food Bank. All of these projects reach communities who have limited access to good food.

.RHUBARB FARM volunteers are part of a social enterprise engaged in horticulture and agriculture.A lovely group of them made sausages yesterday with Sally, using meat from pigs they have raised. Their own recipe included tomato, oregano, chili and smoked paprika.
Yesterday we had a wonderful day at the farm! We explored the farm, fed the animals, went tractor riding and did rock painting with families we support. Big thank you to RHUBARB FARM for hosting us and providing a lovely lunch 😊
