frontiersin.org/journals/immun… PennyZach John Frater Nuffield Department of Medicine report that 29% of a UK cohort of people treated in PHI had predicted resistance to 10-1074 by single genome Env sequence prediction algorithm. This highlights the need for bNAb resistance screening in clinical trials.

onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/epdf/10.10… Pleased to see our meta-analysis of the impact of ATIs and trial interventions eg. #bNAbs, on time to viral resuppression after restarting ART in cure-related studies. Shoutout to my student Miles Eason Imperial Medicine, who drove this work & data collection

onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/ej… Check out this paper by RIO researcher Timothy Tipoe from John Frater lab Nuffield Department of Medicine. He reports how HIV-specific T cell responses in people with HIV are impacted by ATIs.

It's a celebratory #RIOtrial participant feedback meeting today! As Prof sarah fidler explains, recruitment has completed and we are closer to being able to report the first findings of the study by early next year.

Prof John Frater Nuffield Department of Medicine completing the laboratory journey of the participants' samples, and how we can analyse virology and immunology data in depth from these samples.

Next up is Simon Collins HIV i-Base who we're very privileged to have been part of the study from the very beginning as a community representative, sharing his insights on the importance of the study as well as community impact towards the study.
