Fireworks can be a fun way to celebrate, but it's important to handle them with care. Always follow local laws, keep a safe distance, and have water nearby in case of emergencies. Enjoy the show responsibly and help keep your community safe.

🎆 Hey, Rhode Island! Leave the fireworks to the pros! This 4th of July, celebrate safely by watching a public display in your community. Home fireworks may seem fun, but they can cause serious injuries and fires. Let’s celebrate safely! 🇺🇸✨ #safetyfirst #4thofJuly

A flood watch is in effect for the entire state of CT from 2 PM Thursday to 2 PM Friday. A widespread rainfall of 1 to 2 inches is likely, but localized amounts of 3 to 4 inches is possible and these amounts would result in areas of flooding.

Tornadoes can happen with little warning, so it’s important to stay alert and prepared. Monitor weather alerts, know your safe spot—like a basement or interior room without windows—and have an emergency kit ready. If a tornado warning is issued, take shelter immediately and

National Fire Safety Week Reminder 🔥📱 A fully charged phone doesn’t need to stay plugged in. Overcharging can lead to overheating—and that’s a fire risk. Unplug once you hit 100% and help keep your home safe.
