Great to see our research funded by Versus Arthritis published today in The Lancet Rheumatology 👇for the first time providing evidence in how best to deliver effective services for people with #vasculitis #RareDisorders

Findings already being used to inform changes to services for people with vasculitis, including development of clinical service standards and guidelines, and strategies to overcome the barriers to achieving this in practice.

The findings are also likely applicable to the many thousands of people living with other rare autoimmune conditions who share similar problems when accessing healthcare.

Our patient and public contributors played an integral role as research partners, helping us to design the study, analyse the information collected, and reflect on findings.

They helped develop recommendations for healthcare practice and create online resources for people with vasculitis, including filmed stories from people living with vasculitis: healthtalk.org/introduction/s…
