Keir Starmer, "I was worried at the time at the way in which the debate was being conducted. It got very toxic, very divided, very hardlined, and we lost sight of people in that" "That dragged us to a place where the Prime MInister of the UK, Rishi Sunak, made a trans joke in

Whilst enjoying an afternoon out in Bristol yesterday I came across this informative billboard calling for people to vote. Your vote makes a difference -collectively we can change our world and make it a better place #vote #voice #change

Always inspiring catching up with my local’ish’ #restorativejustice colleagues. Discussions included the need to reestablish the Restorative Justice APPG post general election and drive forward delivery of RJ & restorative practices at every stage of the criminal justice system.

Today I’m voting for Heidi Alexander MP because I want my young adult children to have a brighter future, to have hope and opportunity. It’s only a #Labour Government who can provide this. Vote Labour today, vote for change #generalection2024.

Couldn’t agree more with James Timpson - the prison system is broken, it is ineffective in rehabilitating individuals and for many being incarcerated causes more harm. The evidence is loud and clear - community sentences are far more effective in reducing reoffending.

All of us who work in criminal justice are acutely aware it’s at breaking point due to years of £cuts & inept policy-making: a whole system approach to fix it is needed. I know Heidi Alexander MP Shabana Mahmood MP & team will take this challenge on head first & make a real difference.

Good luck everyone receiving exam results today but remember your results do not define you. My son didn’t get the results he wanted 2 years ago - he was absolutely gutted but 12 months on he resat & got 3 A’s. He’s now just finished his 1st yr studying Chemistry.

Leaseholders are being ripped off by managing agents who levy huge charges but provide poor service. It’s got to stop. I’m one of 34 Labour MPs who have written today to the country’s largest managing agent, FirstPort, to demand they come to Parliament to explain themselves.
