Always inspiring catching up with my local’ish’ #restorativejustice colleagues. Discussions included the need to reestablish the Restorative Justice APPG post general election and drive forward delivery of RJ & restorative practices at every stage of the criminal justice system.







Today I’m voting for Heidi Alexander MP because I want my young adult children to have a brighter future, to have hope and opportunity. It’s only a #Labour Government who can provide this. Vote Labour today, vote for change #generalection2024.


Couldn’t agree more with James Timpson - the prison system is broken, it is ineffective in rehabilitating individuals and for many being incarcerated causes more harm. The evidence is loud and clear - community sentences are far more effective in reducing reoffending.

All of us who work in criminal justice are acutely aware it’s at breaking point due to years of £cuts & inept policy-making: a whole system approach to fix it is needed. I know Heidi Alexander MP Shabana Mahmood MP & team will take this challenge on head first & make a real difference.







Great morning at the Swindon South member’s meeting so good to hear from Jim Robbins (Leader of Swindon Borough Council) as part of the let’s talk Swindon series. Amazing deep dive into the Swindon plan, would really recommend attending these events to engage with the ambitions for the


PMQs yesterday incl Q on expanding use of #restorativejustice =putting victims at heart of cjs,reducing recidivism & saving £. Keir replied he’s seen power of #RJ -victims get answers & perpetrators face “human cost of their crimes”. Despite VCOP “we can always do more”Ministry of Justice
