🗓 From October 7th to 12th, 2024, we stopped in 6 German cities and brought state-of-the-art diagnostics directly to the people! The results of the tour speak for themselves (reported by Sebastian Klapa, MD): 🎯 248 people had their joints examined using the ARTHUR system.

👉 After expert review, 16 of these were confirmed (true positives), while the diagnosis for the other 2 was revised by the specialist (false positives). This impressively high accuracy rate highlights the enormous potential of AI-supported technologies in rheumatology care.

As PD Dr. Sander, a lead physician, explains: "What the robot does with its integrated system in 20 minutes would take a human more than an hour." “[...] within the very limited time resources, significantly more joints and significantly more patients can be examined.”

This also means more time freed from repetitive routines, allowing you, as a doctor, to focus on the important tasks. Looking ahead, PD Dr. Sander suggests that medium term, ARTHUR could even be offered as a self-service terminal, for example, in medical service centers.

The UKD (University Hospital Düsseldorf) is among the first hospitals in Germany to successfully implement the #ARTHUR system. “So far, we’ve been able to carry out examinations on over 10,000 joints in more than 500 patients.”
