#jonkent June sales data, ICV2: “Secret Six” 4th issue. Issue 4-did NOT rank in the top 200 comics of the month… Any comic with fake, aged up Jon Kent fails. De-age Jon Kent, save the IP.

If Superman is a punk rocker, fake, aged up Jon Kent is Rebecca Black’s “Friday.” Hilariously dreadful- the years don’t matter when DC remains inept.

Never has “DC Universe Infinite” been more “DC Universe Imbecile.” It IS possible to regress one’s education and experience to reach a pablum state- this web comic is definitive proof on just how poor DC editors and staff are in their job functions. “Jon Kent intern…”

This is an accurate statement. For the young version of Jon Kent… The aged up version of the character is a massive failure- a shallow cypher despised by the discerning majority of fans.

Thanks for the question. Secret Six has the plot conceit that aged up Jon Kent is a viable character- and the poorly done plotting/scripting that has haunted the flawed IP from Bendis to Taylor to Williamson and Waid, to Mains (and, especially the imbecilic Sina Grace take in

#jonkent Bri It is sad that-as soon as valid opposing views are presented-instead of dialogue/debate hugbox denizens fold. I want to discuss on merits, Bri- not insult or block you. By blocking, you made my point that undiscerning readers promote aged up Jon Kent.

#jonkent DC editors/staff allowed Bendis to publish the kidnap and years-long torture of an 11 yr old child. DC editors/staff allowed Waid to publish the kidnap and torture (and cyborging) of a 17 yr old child. Kidnapping and torture must be fun to joke about, Sam Camp- right?

Taking the opportunity for global correction- David Mann , apologies -actual fans remain living with the wolves, in this case -since the Jon Kent age up, DC has remained in a wholly humiliating state- failing fans/their own standards of good comics Please, do the necessary.

Apologies- I must interpret this as a Bizarro grammatical response. Water dry. DC editors competent. Secret Six actually good… The irony is appreciated.

#jonkent July sales data, ICV2: “Secret Six” 5th issue. Surprise: issue 5 did NOT rank in the top 200 comics of the month… Fail. Fail. Fail. That’s all DC can do with fake, aged up Jon Kent. Can’t plot, write, or edit this aged up IP, be it physical or Webtoon.

I would say something like- “Here is unfortunate proof some readers bask in a sadly shallow perception of what makes a comic excellent, what makes a comic writer more than mediocre, and why competent editors are critical to the process.” I’d sip expensive whiskey, after that.
