This morning the children arrived to a WWII themed classroom, as well as a package delivered which contained a signed book from Dominic Sandbrook (thank you). He also set Kestrels a challenge: to research more about WWII, especially what was happening in Bedford at the time.

Kestrels are celebrating #InternationalLiteracyDay2022 by reading the first chapter of our class text 'Letters from the Lighthouse' by @emmac2603 We are very excited!!

We love this homework! This child has learnt about tanks, then used this to inspire this mini battlefield created out of Lego. LEGO As long as the children are learning something, I don't mind how project homework is presented! 😁✨
