Imagine a stable population of #redkites in Northern Ireland! Members of the @HLFNI-funded #RKites project team visited the RSPBDumfriesGalloway red kite trail this week and saw more than 60 kites at a feeding station which draws thousands of visitors to marvel at these magnificent birds.

Now over 7,500 barnacle geese on RSPB #Mersehead reserve, including this impressive looking leucistic (lacks pigmentation) bird (photo credit: Mark Chambers). Ducks, geese and waders aplenty, so come on down to see them...
