Last Friday, I met with Refugees Welcome in Richmond We discussed their work housing and supporting Syrian and Afghan refugees in the local area. As we deal with the humanitarian consequences of Putin's invasion of Ukraine, this good work will continue to be ever pressing and necessary.

We are working with local partners Refugees Welcome in Richmond, Barnes Community Association & Prosperity Café to provide a hub for Ukrainian refugees to connect every Friday afternoon 🇺🇦 Last week local MP Sarah Olney came to visit the hub and offered her support to local refugees🙏


On Friday, I had the pleasure to visit Vineyard Community Centre & Richmond Food Bank with Refugees Welcome in Richmond at their Ukrainian refugee café. The residents of Richmond Park have been so gracious in opening their homes to support those in need. My team are working tirelessly to chase every outstanding application
