Well played game from both sides - especially on the mound. Texas got the big hit and prevented A&M from doing the same. Longhorns were 1-for-8 with runners in scoring positions. The Aggies were 0-for-7.

Nearly a carbon copy of last night’s game. Wonderfully pitched by both sides, but Texas is the one that comes up with the clutch swings and plays again. The Aggies are 0-for-15 through 2 games with men in scoring position.

With spring ball wrapped up, the Aggie coaching staff began making visits this past week and handed out three 2027 in-state offers as the contact period ramps up. ⬇️⬇️⬇️ texags.com/forums/25/topi…

A&M played pretty good baseball this weekend. Texas played better. Style points don’t matter though - especially given the opponent. It’s only about wins and losses. No rest for the weary with LSU headed to College Station next weekend. Aggies have to turn the page and go again

Nice bounce back by A&M following last weekend. Lamar is one of the best mid major clubs on the schedule this year, and they made a late run in this one. Aggies prevail though thanks to multi-hit games from Royo, Henseler, Binderup, Kent, and Sorrell.

Being told late tonight that Texas A&M head coach Mike Earley will not have to serve a suspension this weekend after being ejected from tonight’s game in the 8th inning versus Lamar.

Hearing tonight’s first pitch between Texas A&M and LSU will be delayed, but it has yet to be moved to tomorrow. Stay tuned for official announcement. I would anticipate at least a 90 minute push back.

Weather Update from College Station: Kyle Field is no longer visible, and we’ve got Lake Aggieland currently forming at Blue Bell Park. I’d say the odds that Texas A&M plays LSU tonight are dwindling 😬

Texas A&M and LSU will play a double header tomorrow beginning at 2 PM. The second game will be one hour after the conclusion of the first.
