📢 On today's #WorldRefugeeDay, it is time to recall that an inclusive and multi-stakeholder approach, as pursued by the Rabat Process, is essential for sustainable policy solutions in this area.

This week in Banjul, 🇬🇲 and Switzerland are co-chairing the thematic meeting on Missing Migrants under Rabat Process, supported by ICMPD and ICRC. IOM presents on Missing Migrants Project Project highlighting the need and importance of data for improved responses & prevention efforts.

The @gambiaredcross was part of the Processus de Rabat meeting, co-chaired by 🇬🇲 & 🇨🇭 & supported by ICMPD. We shared challenges faced by families of missing & highlighted the need for clear communication & how actors like #RC help bridge trust gaps btw families & authorities.

The tragedy of #MissingMigrants requires joint action to prevent disappearances and provide answers to affected families. 🇨🇭 is proud to cochair a thematic meeting of the Processus de Rabat together with 🇬🇲 to advance cooperation on this issue 🤝

The Processus de Rabat thematic meeting on #MissingMigrants took place in Banjul, Gambia. The @nscentre presented the Council of Europe's work, notably PACE resolutions & recommendations on missing migrants. This reflects the Council of Europe's commitment to its external dimension. #MigrantProtection
