You don't need to put the gardening on hold until spring when planting in the fall can have some unexpected advantages. Rachel Schoutsen TWN spoke to a gardening expert about why you should plant perennials in the fall. ow.ly/sqLa50TsjsH

You may not need it today, but there is a pretty decent chance you will need it at some point this month...and that would be the snow scraper/brush. Today is a good day to put it back into the car as #snow in October is climatologically speaking, a normal occurrence.

There are 3 storms 🌀 on the go currently in the Atlantic: #Kirk #Leslie and #Milton, but for now Canada remains outside of their area of influence. Milton is expected to track well south of our region but we ECCC Canadian Hurricane Centre will provide updates if the scenario changes.
