The Gaza crisis has been a big talking point in East Ham during this campaign. Here are my hopes for a Labour Government, if one is elected on Thursday

If you're in Oxford on Saturday, come down to the Rose Hill Youth FC 'Festival of Football' at the Community Centre on Carole's Way. Loads of fun things organised at an all-day party before the England game! Thanks to Charlotte Coles for the great coverage in Oxford Mail! 🙌

🤯 A mind-blower for my fellow mid-1980s kids: Didn't the moon landing always feel like ancient history, an epic story from a bygone age? When we were born, it was as recent as 2008 is to now. The moon landing was as recent to our parents as Obama becoming President is to now.

My 1st book for young readers "The Leadership Journey: How Four Kids Became President" is out today! Lincoln, the Roosevelts & LBJ can seem far removed, but the leadership traits they developed are attainable for all—especially young people. History provides lessons & inspiration

This is Fala, my favorite pet that I never met, FDR’s Scottish terrier & constant companion. OTD 1944, FDR gave a hilarious speech about Fala, the subject of a false rumor by FDR's opponents. "His Scotch soul was furious. He has not been the same dog since." It never gets old!

What can Doughnut Economics learn from History? Roman Krznaric and I chatted about it at our kitchen table - and Long Now Foundation.org turned it into a fab little film. Check it out here: youtube.com/watch?v=FfUOs4…

East Ham at the top in ⁦The Sutton Trust⁩ “Opportunity Index”. A fantastic accolade for teachers, schools and families in our community - probably the most ethnically diverse on the planet
