4/ Key take away for the rad onc community: timing and mode of cell death after ablative radiotherapy is dependent DNA repair pathway, with homologous recombination leading to mitotic 'non-immunogenic' cell death

5/ Conversely more error prone repair pathways lead to passage through mitosis with immune-stimulating DNA and RNA species

6/ This opens up new therapeutic opportunities to personalise the combination of SABR/SBRT and immunotherapy and run biomarker driven trials
