Statement from Irvine Meadow “It is with regret that the Irvine Meadow committee have accepted Kevin Deeney’s resignation as first team manager as of tonight. The club would like to thank Kevin for his efforts at Irvine Meadow and wish him well in future endeavours.”

Unfortunately, last night we were expelled from the 2023/24 Scottish FA South Region Challenge Cup. This has happened after we fielded an ineligible player, having overlooked a suspension carried over from last season’s competition 1/2

We are beyond gutted at making such a mistake and accept full responsibility for the error. Steps have already been taken to make sure that we avoid any repeat in future. We want to say sorry to everyone once again and look forward to challenging in the remaining competitions.

The Team here at Radio Saltire would like to pay our own Tribute on the passing of our much loved Presenter, James Brannan, who sadly passed away suddenly a few weeks ago on March 2nd. James joined the presenting Team initially in 2011, then rejoined us on his return in 2019.
