Tony Blackburn OBE. Ofcom You’re the guvnor Tony! But must respectfully disagree here. Many of us still hold on to a hope that the BBC will reverse their massacre of Local Radio. That was totally unfair, both to seasoned professionals and trusting listeners, and may have been averted by effective red tape

Radio Fanatic Tony Blackburn OBE. Ofcom đź’Ż especially as local radio is restricted to 06:00 - 14:00 M-F

Tony Blackburn OBE. Ofcom You're entitled to your view, of course, Tony, but I'm not sure why you feel the need to restate it so often. I think Ofcom is a failed regulator, but for once they're right about this. Indefensible to find the resources for a new station after drastic cuts to BBC Local Radio .

Jason Horton Andy Collins BBC Beds, Herts & Bucks JVS Great you listen, maybe BBC could make it all local again. I don’t want to hear what’s happening in Gt Yarmouth from where I live. And as for the late shows, well how can a national show be called LR ? If anything remove Jo from Saturday night - abysmal broadcasting

Radio Fanatic Despite the general decline the figures go up and down so often wonder how many they have keeping diaries in each area? Radio Northampton has a unique & excellent presenter & show 10-2. Seems strange, despite the cuts, it has suddenly had double digit loss?

Radio Fanatic Jason claims BBC local radio is good… but not that good, eh? Not good enough to be funded properly in preference to a half-baked digital strategy that’s not what the audience wants.

All set and ready to go for BBC Shropshire Breakfast Show Live from Oswestry Market Town Market part of Love Your Local Market Love Your Local Market fornight
