The season ended for the boys last night with a 2-0 defeat to CATA. The boys showed grit with some unfortunate field conditions. The record went to 14-8-1 and a conference record of 9-4-1. We were 2nd in the SPC and 23rd in the 3A West.

In the soccer world, Zander Efird signing festivities set for March 29 at South Rowan. He’ll be a Pfeiffer Falcon.

Due to the heat, tonight's game against Salisbury has been moved back to a 6:30pm start.

The 1st week of the season produced mixed results with a loss to Salisbury 3-2 and a win at N. Stanly 9-0. Stat leaders: Michael Coles and Grayson Steedley 3 goals each, Jacill Perez-Gutierrez with 2 assists, and Alan Ballinas-Gutierrez with 9 saves and a clean sheet.

The game tonight @ West Cabarrus has been moved back 1 hour and will start at 7pm.

A few updates to the schedule for this week. We will be at home today against East Rowan, after swapping Home/Away dates due to a scheduling issue. We will also have the rescheduled game @ Central Cabarrus on Thurs 9/14 6pm.

The boys picked up their 1st conference win at home against LNC. Grayson Steedley 2 goals and 1 assist, Alex Morales 2 goals, Michael Coles 2 assists, and Jacill Perez-Gutierrez 1 assist. Alan Ballinas-Gutierrez and defense with the shutout. Conference 1-6 and overall 4-8.

Tonight's game vs Central Cabarrus has been moved to a 6:30pm kickoff. The move is due to officials availability.

The boys picked up a big win last night against Carson 1-0. Grayson Steedley with the goal and Alan Ballinas-Gutierrez (and defense) with the clean sheet. Congrats to the Seniors for all of their hard work and getting a win on their last home game.

Big conference win last night over West 4-1. Goals by Grayson Steedley (2), Alex Morales, and Michael Coles. Great play by the defense and our goalkeeper, Alan Ballinas Gutierrez, to only allow 1 goal.

A disappointing season concludes with a record of 6-16 overall and 3-13 in the conference. We enjoyed celebrating our seniors with some pizza and FC24 and one last post-game meal. Good luck to the teams that will continue in the playoffs.
