THREAD. Today I am pleased to announce the formation of the Michael Jackson Foundation for Brewing and Distilling (MJF). The MJF will fund scholarship awards to predominantly people of color within the brewing and distilling industries or who wish to join those industries.

Today the EU has confirmed that under the VAT Directives, the UK can give a VAT cut for beer served in wet led pubs matching that on food. We think the PM should reconsider the decision to exclude beer and give a boost to brewers and pubs by cutting VAT on beer to 5%.
