An embargo on German weapons for Israel is "overdue," Middle East expert Rene Wildangel tells DW News. The new wave of criticism by German politicians must be followed by action, he argues. A majority of Germans oppose new arms exports to Israel, a recent poll shows.

Shooting at the people you’re starving while they’re trying to get food isn’t an “aid program,” it’s a series of war crimes.

Restoration of credibility demands strong actions to end Israel’s genocide, humanitarian blockade and starvation, and unlawful occupation. This requires, among other things, 1. Recognising and naming the crime of genocide and ending ALL weapons transfers to Israel as indirect or

Interesting: In Hamas’s new proposal, it reinserted language that Israel and Witkoff removed that says that Hamas would relinquish all governance and management of Gaza to an independent technical committee of Palestinians. Israel and Witkoff paper didn’t mention this at all.
