Each spring, Exmoor ponies return to graze the Estate's rare chalk grasslands and stop hawthorn and other coarse vegetation from encroaching. We do this as part of the #ChangingChalk partnership with National Trust, South Downs National Park and Buglife to preserve this precious habitat.
