Busy scenes on the harbour beach early this morning, with up to 15 House Martins racing back and forth to gather beakfuls of material from the strandline. Presumably this seaweed makes a cosy nest lining?

Frenzied seabird feeding off Rathlin today, with several Minke Whales repeatedly surfacing among the multitudes of auks, gulls and Gannets. So much activity around the cliffs and beyond, it's dizzying to watch 🤯🤩

Puffins can be frustratingly fickle when trying to count them here, but there were lots obligingly showing themselves on the cliffs this week, plus many unexpectedly streaming in and out of caves

Again, interesting to spot the more unusual looking individuals among them - one immature Puffin had a noticeably small and pointy beak, and another bird had the duller face and beak of non-breeding plumage
