Weclome to ChBE @ Georgia Tech Flaherty_Catalysis . It was nice to run into y'all this morning.

🔥‼️The Flaherty Lab has officially moved to ChBE @ Georgia Tech ‼️🔥 Over the last 2 weeks we have gotten our systems back up and running (excuse the mess!), begun exploring facilities Georgia Tech has to offer, and made Atlanta home!

Tomorrow begins Southeastern Catalysis Society's Annual Symposium!! We are excited to share our ongoing work and catch up with fellow catalysis groups from across the Southeast!

We are proud of our group members Richa Ghosh and Sucharita Vijayaraghavan for receiving "best poster" awards at the Southeastern Catalysis Society's 23rd Annual Symposium! 🎉

🎓Congratulations to our 2024 UIUC PhD graduates David Potts and Ohsung, Masters graduates Richa Ghosh, Sucharita Vijayaraghavan, and Matt, and Bachelors graduate Jess!🎓 We had a blast road-tripping to Illinois, attending the ChBE Illinois commencement, and catching up with old friends!

I had a great time at the #Catalysis Gordon Research Conferences where I met and discussed science with new and old friends. I’m thankful to have been elected as the 2026 Catalysis GRS co-chair along with Karl (bsky.app/profile/interphases.org, Román Lab @ MIT) and look forward to planning an exciting program!

Thank you ICCLyon2024 for the honor! Looking forward to presenting my work on elucidating the mechanism of alkene epoxidations on Au electrodes today (11:56am, Amohitheatre) during the Catalysis at Electrodes session - come check it out if you’re interested!

Excited to see our own Richa Ghosh among the "Young Talent" awardees from around the world of catalysis!! 🎉

Our work on the technoeconomic analysis of electrochemical alkene oxidations, led by the fantastic Adam Sibal, has just been published!! Here we set process benchmarks for economically feasible ethylene and propylene electrooxidations. Check it out!

Happy to share that my recent publication was featured on the cover of J. Am. Chem. Soc.! It was fun tapping into my creative side to create the art!

After a crushing Philadelphia Eagles victory, the Flaherty Lab is ready to crush some presentations at #SECS2025! Check out our amazing lineup of speakers!

🚨#NAM29 is coming to our hometown of Atlanta! We are proud to have 2026 Paul H. Emmett Award winner Dr. Dave Flaherty and Kokes travel award recipient Richa Ghosh , but be sure to also see our many other presentations on electrochemistry, zeolites, and heterogenous catalysis.
