Proud of my team contributing to the growing literature on GDF15 and energy homeostasis. Thanks, E. Dale Abel for the shout out!

Thank you Randy J. Seeley, Ph.D. for collaborating with us.

My PhD work is in press Nature Communications! I have enjoyed this journey of discovery so much, from recognizing this interesting ācappingā motif in TRH to predicting and detecting peptides to ultimately finding signaling functionalities of capped peptides (CAP-TAC1 and CAP-GDF15).

A good week for papers. Check our latest study led by Renata Pereira Internal Medicine at Iowa The University of Iowa FOEDRC in Scientific Reports, elegant demonstration of ATF4 & FGF21 roles in #BrownFat thermogenesis. This is the paper my granddaughter helped me edit! Matthew Potthoff rdcu.be/dwoge
