Holme Valley MRT and Woodhead MRT were called to assist West Yorkshire Police, along with Search Dog Willow and Mountain Rescue Search Dogs England handler John. Thankfully, Police found Krystyna safe and well, and she was treated by a Mountain Rescue England and Wales Dr. and medics before Yorkshire Ambulance paramedics…

Today was a busy day for Holme Valley MRT with 3 jobs to support the Yorkshire Ambulance. Each incident was to assist with evacuating casualties from difficult to access locations. This is one of our specialities and we spend many training sessions per year practising the required skills.
Yesterday Holme Valley MRT assisted Yorkshire Ambulance in #Meltham, after a lady fell from a footpath into the river, gaining multiple injuries. After treatment and a tricky extrication, the casualty was transported to hospital by #ambulance. All in the team wish her a speedy recovery.
