🎬 Recently, I visited Sky Studios in West London with the Shadow DCMS team. It was inspiring to see the talent, creativity and innovation at the heart of one of the UK’s leading broadcasters.

Well what an incredible morning this is going to be. Labour govt trumpeting a long list of stuff they claim they've done to deal with the water industry. Tories say they just nicked their old policies, thing is the Tories are right. Example. 1. All sewage overflows to have

Yet more City Steve Spin. As believable as his promise before the election not to impose the Family Farm Tax 🤔 Labour think they can get away with misleading the public. We aren’t stupid - we know our bills will go up. He also hasn’t answered the question of who will pick up

Labour turned the sewage crisis into political theatre. But as suspected, it turns out they didn’t have a plan - and they’ve decided to use ours instead. 🧵A thread

6️⃣ Finally, Steve Reed says we need to go back to the “purity we all remember". But under Blair-Brown, ONLY 7% of storm overflows were actually monitored for spills. The only reason he can talk tough on this issue today is because we pushed monitoring to 100% in 2023.

Ed Miliband’s wind auction is 8 MONTHS LATE. And now it looks like he will start it in recess so he doesn’t have to face questions in Parliament. Why? Because he knows it will prove that his promise to cut your bills by £300 was a lie. Here’s why👇🏾

We face a border security crisis, but also a public safety crisis I urged the Minister to commit to: 1️⃣Record & publish immigration status of all offenders 2️⃣Close the asylum hotel in Epping 3️⃣Repeal the Human Rights Act for immigration matters 4️⃣Emulate Greece and deport all

Labour’s immoral family farm tax is destroying livelihoods and will wipe out generations of hard work. When the Conservatives return to government, we will reverse it. No ifs, no buts. Standing up for our farmers is standing up for Britain.

This level of borrowing is not remotely ‘unexpected’ given the out of her depth Chancellor. She is no more capable of balancing her books than a first year undergrad in freshers week.

Put Labour claims into Google Translate and: Fix the foundations = more and more borrowing. No tax rises on working people = tax rises on working people. Smash the gangs = record Channel crossings.

Last week Rachel Reeves claimed she’d “put the public finances back on a firm footing, getting debt on a downward path.” In reality, she borrowed over £20 billion in June alone. Labour are trying to gaslight you. Don’t let them.

Labour's Jobs Tax is destroying our great British pubs. 69,000 jobs have already been lost - and today, Brewdog announced the closure of 10 of their bars. Pubs are the heart of our communities - we need to back them, along with the workers who keep them going. 🍻

Work brings dignity.   But Labour’s new Employment Rights Bill creates UNemployment.   When you load £5 billion in new costs onto employers, you destroy opportunity.

Under Labour, 800 businesses close every day. Once their (un)employment Rights Bill passes, just imagine what that number will be. Britain can’t afford Labour.

Police workforce figures just out for March 31st 2025 show Police Officer numbers by headcount *DOWN* by 1,316 - from a record high of 149,768 on 31/03/24 down to 148,452 on 31/03/25.  The same trend is evident in FTE (Full Time Equivalent) numbers. Conservatives delivered

Why is James O'Brien back on air this morning? There’s been no apology, no explanation, nothing at all as far as I can see yet. Come on LBC - sort this out now.
