Reading Sunday’s article from City & State NY is bringing back feelings from campaigning in 2020-2021 for me. If you’re in a race that feels like the deck is stacked against you, don’t give up. Run your race how you want to, regardless of celebrity status or deep pockets.

We voted by mail today for an accessible, affordable New York City. What’s your plan to vote? Early Voting starts on June 14th and Election Day is June 24th. There’s a lot to vote for, NYC, so don’t sit this election out. #CripTheVote #NYCVotes

Beautiful read. Construction is noisy & takes time but the positive impacts it can have are life changing. In this case good, union jobs & NYers w/ disabilities will finally be able to get to the Museum of Natural History or home to the UWS more easily. westsiderag.com/2025/06/09/the…

I changed jobs last summer, and leaving the union members I loved working on behalf of was tough. The change allowed me to finally work on disability issues professionally as a lobbyist - and last night I passed my first disability bill. Change is hard, but change is good too.

Mobility aids are freedom. Speaking from personal experience, comments like these are why young people & others often forgo the help a mobility aid can offer because of the stigma & shame others make them feel for using one. Signed, a babe with a mobility aid 😤
