#IWC69 concludes a very successful meeting with consensus on critical priorities, including Aboriginal Subsistence Whaling quotas, scientific and conservation workplans & the biennial budget. ā€˜After almost 80 years, the IWC has never been more relevant’ – IWC Chair, Dr Nick Gales

Thresher shark reported dead stranded near Clovelly, Devon at the weekend. Our colleagues at Devon Wildlife Trust Marine Strandings Network tried to recover it for #CSIOfTheSea examination, but unfortunately the tide took it... If anyone spots it in the area, please let us know!

Recovered a harbour porpoise from Worthing, West Sussex earlier today. Rakemarks all over it, looks like yet another bottlenose dolphin attack case... Heading back to ZSL Science tomorrow for #CSIOfTheSea examination to learn more. Many thanks to Adur & Worthing Councils for their help!
