Delighted to see the final product of this incredible film I worked on back at the start of 2020. If you like interactive storytelling and innovative technology, PERSPECTIVE will be right up your street. And keep watching what Rebecca Saw is making because she's one to watch!

Today, to coincide with the Online Safety Bill going through UK parliament, we launch our report: ⚡️SAFEGUARDING THE METAVERSE ⚡️ Published by The Institution of Engineering and Technology, coauthored by Verity McIntosh and I, with a forward from Carol Vorderman theiet.org/media/9836/saf…

A reminder that there's some brilliant sessions from BBC Research & Development folk at Radio TechCon next week (including Bill Thompson and Ian | #blacklivesmatter | @[email protected]). Be sure to drop into their sessions and say hello to them when you see them (tell them we sent you)!

Back in the room and the incredible Rebecca Saw (HIRE THIS WOMAN!) and Ian | #blacklivesmatter | @[email protected] (whose actual job title is 'Senior Firestarter') are explaining how to do exceedingly cool automatic content versions using objects + a new (soon-to-be) open source tool. #radtechcon

.Rebecca Saw is explaining how you can create a podcast to have alternative versions using an online builder which runs on SMIL. The podcast then plays the correct versions of each piece of your show depending on what the phone can sense - even light v dark! #radtechcon

Great to see Ian | #blacklivesmatter | @[email protected] and Rebecca Saw in the spotlight at #radiotechcon. Anyone can sign up to try out the Adaptive Podcasting Editor on MakerBox now... bbc.co.uk/makerbox/tools…

I had a fantastic time at Radio TechCon yesterday, talking about Adaptive Podcasting with BBC Research & Development Ian | #blacklivesmatter | @[email protected]. I met loads of amazing people, every talk was fascinating, and I'm feeling completely energised!

Rebecca Saw and I worked on a project with 5WF Fifth Wall Forum back in 2020 and I ran into her at the #dandad festival. She’s working on a fantastic new VR experience called Unearthed. It was so great to randomly run into her. #SmallWorld
