Remember that day and the anticipation of having to wait for ABC to air it in prime time. …Al Michaels’ call is legendary.

Nothing like the anticipation of the NAIA WBB Selection Show. …And then the letdown. It’s something every year. …Just email the pairings and bring an end to your version of March Madness. …Sheesh. 🤦🏼‍♂️

Went back and watched the end of Rio Grande Baseball game yesterday. Played them every year for a while now, but the home announcer on the webcast still called us the Rio (Ree-oh) Grande (Grahn-day) Hurricanes. ...What? ...And was calling players by first names. ...SMH.🤦‍♂️

Lost my friend, Larry McCloud, earlier today. …Best high school football player I got to cover regularly during my career and a beast at MLB for Marshall Football. …Quite the contrast - timid, almost shy, off the field and a bad man on it. …Gone way too young. Damn you cancer. …RIP.

Had the chance to call a pair of Rio Grande Baseball games yesterday at Marshall Baseball Jack Cook Field. ...My first trip to the Herd's new stadium and I was blown away. I don't recall working in a nicer BASEBALL facility. Ever. ...I'm incredibly jealous. ...Thanks Marshall Athletics.

There weren’t many things in this life that I thought he couldn’t do. …He had no clue how good he was at being a Dad. The best, hands down. …Ray Payton, you are missed each and every day - and always will be. Thank you for being you. Happy Father’s Day!! ❤️

Colbert getting his. Hopefully, others will too. …None of them have been funny for a long time now. …Once upon a time you were entertained before going to sleep. Now you get the host’s political agenda. …Personally, I don’t give a 💩 about what they think.
