The start time for Canyon ISD campuses will be delayed 2 hours on Tuesday, October 27th. Bus routes will also be delayed 2 hours. Traffic will be slower so allow for extra time!

Texas Governor Abbott released the mask mandate for businesses starting March 10. CISD is awaiting guidance from the Texas Education Agency (TEA) in how to proceed in the school system.  As information becomes available from TEA, we will release it to our parents and community.

Revised... The March 7 Canyon News Headline about masks in CISD is inaccurate. This matter has not been determined, yet. CISD Board of Trustees will be reviewing the requirement of face coverings on Monday, March 8. After their review, the district will inform our community.

Due to a report of an active shooter at the WTAMU campus, our campus was put into a "Secure" protocol until we received more information. We received confirmation that there was no incident at WT, so we have lifted the "Secure" and are back to normal schedule.
