While the run in the championship bracket ended earlier than we had hoped, we’re incredibly proud of the Golden Lions this season. Finishing with a 24-6 record, 4A Region 5 champs, an elite 8 appearance, .423 team batting avg, 322 hits, 332 runs, 255 RBIs, 96 SBs, & 14 HRs.

So proud of our team going 5-1 and losing by 1 in Championship game in first wknd together. Reloaded this season with team players that immediately bought in to our system. Most talented all-around team we have had. Thankful to be a part of this group and watching them grow.

We want to thank bryan pack for always running an amazing showcase. Our girls are seen by so many great coaches and we will be reaching out to you all! And Tonya Medders I hope you got those 27K steps in - thanks for everything!

A big thank you to our ‘25 seniors on their amazing careers with SPX softball. They have playoff appearances in 3 of their 4 years, with a trip to super regionals & the elite 8. They finished with a career BA of .312 with 216 hits, 242 runs, 344 IPs, & struck out 315 batters.

Not enough words for today. Went 2-1 beating solid bandits and D1Vision teams. These girls are amazing. Can’t even describe the catch in LF by Regan Waters 2026, the play at 3B by Giulia Torres🇩🇴, and pitching by Livie Henry 2027 Rylee Jasper. So in love with this team 💙💛

Congratulations to Coach Amie McDougal for being named Co-Coach of the Year for 4A Region 5. Her 8th season as HC was a year for the record books as she lead the team to a 24-6 record, a region championship, a trip to Columbus for the Elite 8, and notched her 100th career win!

Love these girls. Outstanding last fall tourney playing the toughest competition at Show Me the Money. Won first bracket game in walk off fashion. Lost the second round in ITB by one run. What a talented group of ballers and young women. #IGalways
