In Australia, 170 people die every year from Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (#SUDEP). This #SUDEPActionDay, leading experts in #epilepsy are raising awareness about the risks of SUDEP – a condition where 2 out of every 3 (69%) cases could be prevented.

Florey research published today in Nature Neuroscience led by A/Prof Justin Rubio found that neurons located in MS brain lesions have a 2.5x faster mutation rate than normal neurons – providing clues for new treatment avenues for progressive MS. Read here: florey.edu.au/news/2025/03/f…
