We Access to Justice Lab are working on a pilot evaluation w/ UH Law Center & Connective, & support of J-PAL North America, understand eviction prevention. bit.ly/3xmtJN5 can we: 1. identify folks who are housing insecure and help stabilize? 2. avoid eviction court filings? 3. do this all by text?

maybe you've seen all my various posts from travel to Texas with Georges Naufal & Public Policy Research Institute. It turns out we were working! Pleased to share the final report from that collaboration studying the effect of counsel at first appearance. bit.ly/49APiqA

Really great event bringing practitioners, policy makers, & researchers together to explore solutions and research opportunities around early intervention of counsel. Access to Justice Lab was grateful to join in and support Georges Naufal's talk about our research collab on this topic.

This position will work directly with our friends at the Toledo Municipal Court helping to build an evidence base around diversion programs targeting individuals charged persistently with low level offenses. We need evidence to know what works and doesn't! Help us!
