A1. I love Ursula Dubosarsky and Andrew Joyner’s The Terrible Plop. Everything about it is fun – the words, the storyline, the illustrations. I also love All the Ways to be Smartwhich is beautiful and smart in all the right ways. #picbookbc

A2. I love reading rhyming books out loud – they are so captivating. Also from a writer’s standpoint, they present a great challenge to create, especially if you have a different accent than your audience (like me). #picbookbc

A4. I have a picture book of poems by Shel Silverstein called Runny Babbit in which he switches up the first letters of words. He includes a take on Jack be Nimble: ‘Runny be quimble, Runny be nick…’ the ending makes me laugh every time! #picbookbc
