Team Trone recently attended SHIP FrederickCounty’s ribbon cutting celebrating 10 years of assisting thousands of Frederick students experiencing homelessness. During National Youth Homelessness Awareness Month, we honor SHIP’s service to Maryland’s youth.

Every Marylander deserves to feel safe in their own community. I visited Montgomery County Department of Police' Real Time Crime Center to see how they use data analysis to prevent crime, and I've requested $2.1 million to implement the center permanently.

We had some incredible entries for Congressional App Challenge, but this year's winner is ShareCompass. In a time when many people need help, the app collects relevant information from non-profits and agencies and puts it in one place for easy access. Congrats! youtube.com/watch?v=eTlPs1…

I requested $2 million in #CommunityProjectFunding for The City of Frederick to build safe and walkable sidewalk infrastructure to benefit residents and businesses alike. It was great to speak with small business owners in Frederick about how this project will boost our economy!

I'm thrilled to see PIA Aviation School break ground on a new 10,000-square-foot facility to provide additional workshop space and accommodate its growing Aviation Maintenance Technician program. I was proud to deliver $750K in Community Project Funding to get the job done, together.

Nationwide, there's a shortage of affordable housing for low-income families. Here in Frederick County, we're tackling it head-on with a project to develop affordable housing at the Prospect Center. I requested $3 million to ensure everyone in the county has a place to call home.

As an House Appropriations Democrats, I'm working to include the White House’s request for critical disaster funding in the CR – for Baltimore and the many communities that have suffered from devastating hurricanes and flooding this year. In these final weeks, I know Americans are counting on us.

I started my business as employee #1. That experience has driven my fight to fund community projects that boost small businesses and our local economies. So I was proud to deliver $4 million to Town of Poolesville to revitalize pedestrian-friendly infrastructure on our Main Streets.

Last night, the U.S. Senate passed my and Senator Ben Cardin's bill to renew the C&O Canal National Historical Park Federal Advisory Commission. This Commission has a proven record of ensuring this valued park's continued growth and maintenance. Now, to be signed into law!
