Legislation introduced by Chairman Jason Dawkins to strengthen PA's Prevailing Wage Act just passed the House 125-77 and heads to the Senate for further consideration! This bill would prohibit split rates and cover custom fabrication to ensure all workers are paid a living wage.

I’ve been a solid supporter of #unions and #apprenticeshipprograms since the beginning. These programs are free for union members and provide the skills that you need to get prepared to enter the workforce as a competent worker.

There will be a Youth Job Fair this Thursday, Aug. 15 from noon to 2 p.m. at Frankford Pause Park. It will be a great opportunity for young people to learn about employment options and gain work experience.
