At the Mental Health Partnerships PC I spoke as a member of the Mental Health Caucus on the complex issue of MH that many of us have a connection with, either personally or watched a loved one battle through. It is an ever-present, evolving issue in our families & communities.

Bipartisan bill to help police solve cold cases, no crime victim should have to wait for justice. I am co-sponsoring HB 1511 to provide PCCD grant $ to help LE reanalyze old evidence, submit 4 more testing, hire cold case investigators & streamline evidence collection/processing.

Sarah Gerdes is an intern in my district office this summer. She visited me in Hbg this week & was introduced on the floor by the Speaker. A local Trinity grad she will be a sophomore at the Catholic Univ of America this fall studying political science. Glad to have her help!

Tonight at Mechanicsburg’s Borough Council mtg we recognized Chief Myers’ over 40 years of service. I was able to present a House citation. She broke glass ceilings as the 1st female Police Chief & started as a Mech PO in 1984. TY for your service! Congrats & enjoy retirement!

Navy Supply Mech held an open house for nearby private well owners to sign up to have the Navy sample their wells for certain PFAS. The Navy is offering to install point of use filters at properties where sample results indicate PFAS concentrations exceed the DOD action level.
