Dealing with the possibility of breast cancer is bad enough. No one should worry about cost if they need further diagnostic exams. I’m proud that #PAHouse passed my legislation in a bipartisan fashion that would require health insurance to cover such exams at no cost to patients.

I fully support this bill aimed at combatting maternal mortality rates. This bill would require private health insurance to cover necessary home blood pressure monitors as a pregnancy-related service. High blood pressure is a serious risk during pregnancy and the postpartum year.
