Tomorrow, Nov. 5 is the General Election. It's time to get out, cast your vote or drop off your mail-in ballot. Don't forget the city opened 10 election satellite offices around the city to make voting easier for us all. It's time to make your voice heard.

The Environmental Resources & Energy committee toured Three Mile Island in anticipation of its reactivation. Reopening the plant is expected to create over 3,000 secure, well-paying jobs for Pennsylvanians and help us find new sources of energy.

Our outdoor spaces provide a place for neighbors to gather, kids to play and a break from our busy lives. I'm thrilled to announce $450,000 in state funding for Franklin Square & Starr Garden Playgrounds!

Dog fighting not only is a cruel crime against animals, it also breeds more criminal activity like, child sexual assault, illegal firearms, drug trafficking, domestic violence and money laundering. I'm dedicated to ending this heinous crime along with Pennsylvania House Majority Policy Committee .

There is no safe level of exposure to lead for children. But so many of the schools and homes in our communities have old paint and plumbing that is putting our kids in danger. Today I led a Pennsylvania House Majority Policy Committee meeting to work on real solutions to this widespread problem.
