I am incredibly disappointed by today’s blatantly partisan decision by the Court. All should be troubled by the precedent set in this case. The Wisconsin Supreme Court gave the Governor the ability to write laws wholesale – even King George III would be jealous.

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to present my friend Nao Shoua Xiong a Hometown Hero Award for his work on behalf of Hmong-Lao Veterans. As today, is Hmong-Lao Veterans Day please take some time to reflect on the sacrifices of Hmong-Lao Veterans.

I want to congratulate Troop 400’s newest Eagle Scout Logan Thom. His community project was building a bridge on the ice age trail at Dells of the Eau Claire County Park.

Incredibly grateful that Bradyn's Law, my legislation to combat sextortion in Wisconsin, passed the Assembly in a unanimous vote today. Thank you to Bradyn's family and all those who have helped advocate on this important issue.

Bradyn's Law will go a long way towards preventing future tragedies and punish those who prey on kids through sextortion schemes.
