It was great to stop into the Easthampton Chamber of Commerce's annual meeting today with my good friend Dan Carey. The policies made at the state level have a tremendous impact on our local economies and it was fantastic to meet some new business owners in our communities.

6x State Champs! Congratulations to Easthampton Public Schools High School's "We The People" Team on winning the state competition this Saturday at the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the U.S. Senate in Boston. It is always a blast visiting EHS to practice with the team and they continue to impress.

Last night, we gathered at the Chicopee Moose Lodge for the 18th Annual Celebration of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Month. Together we celebrated some terrific workforce heroes who have made an impact in the lives of community members with DD.

Fun day seeing Easthampton Public Schools High School’s “We The People” Team prepare for their national competition with a mock hearing right here in the State House! Afterwards Dan Carey and I showed the students around the building and took them into the @MA_Senate chamber as well.

Last night the Easthampton City Council recognized Easthampton High's "We The People" team at their meeting for once again winning the State Championship. It was great to join the Council with Dan Carey and present citations to all of the students on their awesome achievements.
