The emphasis on #Work being the only +ive measure of #Benefits, is disingenuous. Work is a complex task requiring many abilities. In order to do that health, finance, environment & access need to be optimised. We are only there in a small way. Society is not fit for purpose.

As an OT, it's definitely not that simple bec many people require others to 'prepare the environment' in order to enable 'independence'. Needing this, doesn't make you 'independent'. Imagine living entirely alone: could you achieve this, if not, why not? Mitigations? Aids?

Wouldn't it be nice (cost improving, personalised approach, good economics, holistic...)

Many services are moving to digital. It opens new possibilities for accessibility & engagement. It also surfaces barriers - digital exclusion, loss of informal connection & systems that used to be relational that now feel transactional. A key issue is how we make digital

I swear they’re trying to kill the old through digital exclusion. The powers that be certainly don’t care if people can’t use the system and therefore don’t get medical help.
