I pay for my training. I have over £115k of debt and will pay back over £250k over the course of my career. This doesn’t include the thousands I have to pay for exams and courses during the course of my career. Doctors are worth more than £15 an hour. #DoctorsStrike

There is a massive scandal within the NHS that the public aren’t being told about. 20,000 NHS doctors aren’t being allowed to become specialists, due to a lack of training jobs for them. These jobs are being centrally restricted by the government. Doctors want to help the NHS,

I graduated as a doctor 4 years ago with ~£100k of debt, and despite working up to 72 hours a week, my debt has only increased. Doctors are being paid £17/hour and have to make loan repayments and pay thousands for exams and fees. We are only asking for £23/hour. Wes Streeting
